The Hartford Men's Lacrosse team lost 21-7 to Endicott College on Saturday. Hartford struggled the entire game to find the back of the net and it showed in the score as this loss ended the Hawks 3 game win streak.
Rapid Recap:
- Endicott started off the scoring early with Senior Cam Fernandez burying two goals in the first 5 minutes of play. The lead for the Gulls would grow to 5 before the end of the quarter off a goal from Curtis Redd.
- Hartford responded in the second quarter with 3 goals of their own coming from Sophomores Ethan Hunt (Skaneateles, NY) , Aiden Ezra (New Milford, Conn.), and Nick Forgione (Denville, NJ). Endicott didn't let up though, extending their lead to 8 by quarter's end.
- The third quarter saw Endicott completely pull away with the game. The Gulls added 7 goals to their lead and only allowed Hartford to net one of the stick of Nick DiDomizio (Cheshire, Conn.) at the 10:53 mark of the third, from well beyond the midfield line.
- The fourth quarter saw more of the same for Hartford, as both sides of the field were rendered ineffective by the Gulls. Hartford closed out the game with a goal from Aiden Kemp (South Orange, Conn.) with 1:16 remaining in the game.
Inside The Numbers:
- Aiden Kemp led the offense with two goals on the day both coming in the 4th quarter. Nick Forgione also found the back of the net in this one.
- Defensively Nick DiDomizio shined with his goal from way downtown, and Thomas Brunelli (Norwich, Conn.) with his forced turnover and 5 ground balls.
- In net CJ Ledwick (Falmouth, MA)shined despite the tough outcome. The Sophomore ended the game with 21 saves and a .538 save percentage.

The Hawks will look to bounce back on Wednesday April 2nd at 4pm against Curry College.
