The Hartford Women's Lacrosse team lost 18-9 to Endicott College on Saturday. Hartford started out the game strong but couldn't hang on, thanks to a lack of shots on goal and turnovers galore.

- Endicott responded by going on a 8-0 run to start the second quarter, bringing the score to 12-4. Hartford's Madison Olmstead (Wolcott, Conn.) broke the streak with 54 seconds left in the quarter, with a free position goal.

The third quarter saw Endicott extend their lead to 9, with Hartford's only goal coming from Madison Olmstead with 13:01 remaining in the quarter. The Hawks offense went ice cold for the rest of the quarter.

The fourth quarter saw Hartford fight back early, with Meghan Smith netting another 2 goals within the first 5 minutes of play. From there, the offense fizzled out and Hartford fell to the Gulls 18-9.

Madison Olmstead and Meghan Smith both lead the offense with 5 points on the day. Olmstead obtained her 100th point with an assist to Smith in the first quarter.

The defense was led by Lauren Samela (Cheshire Conn.) and Madison Carangelo (Vernon, Conn.) who both finished the game with 2 ground balls, and a caused turnover.

In net Mandi Rivard (Vernon, Conn.) had a decent day with 14 saves on 30 shots faced.
