WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - On Monday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its weekly report with sophomore Alexis Sealey (Pleasant Hill, Calif.) being named the softball Player and Pitcher of the Week.
Sealey has been dominant on both sides of the ball for the Hawks, posting stifling numbers both in the circle and in the box. On the rubber, Sealey went 3-0 with a staggering 0.34 ERA and six strikeouts. As for on offense, she batted .591 with seven doubles and eight runs scored. This week, Sealey also eclipsed 15 doubles on the year, setting a new Hartford softball record. She currently sits at 17 on the year with five more regular season games left on the schedule.
Sealey and the Hawks are slated to host Worcester Polytechnic Institute in a non-conference mid-week matchup this Tuesday, April 29th at 3:00 PM.
