SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Hartford women's tennis team fell on Thursday in its final road match before the home opener to Springfield College by a 7-0 final.

- The Hawks fell in both doubles matches. In #2 doubles the Hawks would take a single game falling 6-1, while #1 doubles fell 6-0.
- In singles play sophomore Victalia Z. Deida (New Haven, Conn.) fell by the closest margin falling 6-2, 6-1 in #3 singles. Freshman Maddie Pearlman (New Hampton, N.Y.), senior Gabriella Carr (Springfield, Mass.) and sophomore Natalie Lamb (Glastonbury, Conn.) all would win a single game falling 6-1, 6-0.

The Hawks will host Gordon College on Saturday, September 20th in the first home women's tennis match since April 17th, 2016. The match will take place at the Watkinson School in West Hartford.
