WEST HARTFORD, Conn.  - The Hartford women's tennis team fell to Gordon College in their home opener, 7-0.

Rapid Recap:

• The Hawks fell in both doubles matches. In #1 doubles the Hawks would take four games for a close final of 6-4. In the second doubles the Hawks took two games finishing this one out 6-2.
• In singles play graduate student Crystal Gallagher (Wallingford, Conn.) nearly took this one for the Hawks in a close 6-4 final. Freshman Maddie Pearlman (New Hampton, N.Y.) closed out #3 singles at 6-2. Sophomore Natalie Lamb (Glastonbury, Conn.) nearly clinched the win with a final score of 6-3.

The Hawks will hit the road to take on Western Connecticut State University this upcoming Wednesday, September 24th at 3:30 p.m.
