WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – On Monday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its final weekly honor roll for basketball with freshman Allie Shenloogian (Park Ridge, N.J.) winning the CNE Rookie of the Week selection for the fourth time this season.
Shenloogian scored 17 points on 6-9 from the floor while grabbing seven rebounds in a huge 60-45 victory over the University of New England on February 21st to clinch a CNE home playoff game for the Hawks. Allie has now been named four times for the weekly award in hopes of being named the CNE rookie of the year when the yearly awards are released.
Shenloogian closed the regular season playing all 25 games averaging 8.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game for Hartford in her freshman season.
The Hawks women's basketball team hosts the University of New England on Wednesday in the CNE Playoffs with a 7:00 PM tip off time.
