LOWELL, Mass. - On Friday, the University of Hartford men's indoor track & field team kicked off the outdoor season at the D'Amour Invitational hosted by UMass Lowell.

- Freshman Melvin Sanchez (Meriden, Conn.) had a stellar debut placing in 1st with a 53.12 meter javelin throw.
- Sophomore Marlon Pierre (Baldwin, N.Y.) had a good showing in the 110 meter hurdles placing in second at a time of 15.64 seconds.
- Freshman Julius Lowe-Wannamaker (Springfield, Mass.) placed in third in two events in the high jump at 1.85 meters and the long jump at 6.43 meters.
- Sophomore Aidan Quee (Springfield, Mass.) finished in fourth in the 400 meter dash at a time of 50.94.
- Freshman Garrett Schuth (Colchester, Conn.) placed in fourth in pole vault at a height of 3.55 meters.
