NEW ORLEANS, La. - This afternoon, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field All-Region teams were released with seven Hawks being named to the men's indoor track & field mideast team.
To be named to the all-region team the top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.
The Hawks making the team were freshman Jason Edmund (Brooklyn, N.Y.) in 60 meter, graduate student Kaden Leonard (Webster, N.Y.) in 60 meter, junior Chris Hergott (Hamden, Conn.) in long jump, freshman Julius Lowe-Wannamaker (Springfield, Mass.) in long jump, sophomore Aidan Lybarger (South Burlington, Vt.) in shot put and weight throw, junior William Pavlinsky (New Milford, Conn.) in shot put and junior Thomas Yonkers (Farmington, Conn.) in pole vault.
