GLEN COVE, N.Y. - The Hawks traveled to Long Island to play in the LIU Shark Invitational hosted by Long Island University. Over a three round tournament the Hawks would place 14th out of 15 teams.

Rapid Recap:

• Freshman Griffin LaLonde (Montclair, N.J.) would lead the way for the Hawks placing 41st overall, shooting a 72 in round one, and a pair of 75s in rounds two and three. 
• Freshman Shawn Amari (Townsend, Mass.) would place 51st overall shooting a 77 in the first round, 73 in the second round, and 75 in the third round. 
• Freshman Zack MacMillan (Toronto, ON) would come in 68th place, shooting a 72 in the first round, 80 in the second round, and 77 in the third round. 
• Freshman Manolo Vargas (Medellin, Colombia) would take home 74th place, shooting a 77 in the first round, 81 in the second round, and 73 in the third round. 
• Wrapping things up freshman Tim Kaley (Dalton, Mass.) would come in 77th place, shooting a 73 in the first round, 83 in the second round, and a 76 in the third and final round. 

Inside the Numbers:

• The Hawks would knotch 24 birdies in three rounds of action. 
• Hartford would shoot a combined 62 over par. 
• Bryant University would come home in first place, with their Matthew Young taking home individual first place.
