SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - On Friday and Saturday the University of Hartford men's outdoor track & field team competed in the NCAA Division III New England Championships placing in 23rd out of 34 scoring teams.

- Sophomore Aidan Lybarger (South Burlington, Vt.) highlighted the Hawk scorers coming in 3rd in the discus throw at 47.79 meters and 6th in hammer throw at 51.58 meters.
- The other scorer on the weekend for the Hawks was the men's 4x800 meter relay coming in 7th place at a time of 8:05.24. The group was comprised of senior Gulian Marconi (Southampton, Mass.), freshman Gavin Mize (Downingtown, Pa.), senior Peter Efinger (Washingtonville, N.Y.) and sophomore Nick Brisson (Willamsburg, Mass.).
- Junior Thomas Yonkers (Farmington, Conn.) came in 12th in the pole vault clearing a height of 4.40 meters.
- Junior Chris Hergott (Hamden, Conn.) came in 10th in the long jump at a distance of 6.85 meters.
- Junior William Pavlinsky (New Milford, Conn.) placed in 11th in the shot put at 14.13 meters.
- Graduate student Kaden Leonard (Webster, N.Y.) and freshman Jason Edmund (Brooklyn, N.Y.) both came in 11th in the 100 meter dash at a time of 10.97.
