NEW ORLEANS, La. - On Wednesday afternoon, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field All-Region teams were released with eight Hawks named to the men's outdoor track & field mideast team.
In order to be named to the all-region team, the top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Athletic.net Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.
The Hawks named to the team were freshman
Jason Edmund (Brooklyn, N.Y.), junior Christopher Hergott (Hamden, Conn.), graduate student
Kaden Leonard (Webster, N.Y.), and sophomore
Aidan Quee (Springfield, Mass.) for 4x100 relay. Hergott was also honored for long jump, freshman
Julius Lowe-Wannamaker (Springfield, Mass.) in high jump, sophomore
Aidan Lybarger (South Burlington, Vt.) for shot put, discus, and hammer throw, junior Will Pavlinsky (New Milford, Conn.) for shot put, and junior
Thomas Yonkers (Farmington, Conn.) for pole vault.
