WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - On Monday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its weekly honor roll with Hawks junior Cristian Vitti (Stamford, Conn.) being named the CNE Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. 

Vitti would hold Gordon College to a clean sheet making five saves in the 1-0 win on Saturday. Cristian currently is 2-1 on the season with a 0.67 goals allowed average while making 13 saves. The junior is the first to win the award since Ryan Lunn did on September 8th of last season. 

The Hawks are back in action tomorrow night taking on Eastern Connecticut State University at 6:00 PM. Hartford will also take on the University of New England on Saturday at 6:00 PM in the second conference match of the year.
