Post-Race Press:
"Today I was in fourth place for a bit. It wasn't until I got to second that I realized that I might have a shot at winning. I stayed strong and passed the girl in front of me until I was in first. From there it was scary. I didn't know how far away she was but I refrained from looking over my shoulder as that would tell her I was tired. The last half mile I gave it everything I had. I'm happy with my time since I was over a minute faster than last year. Last year I improved over a minute over the season and went from 24s to 22s. I think I can definitely reach the high to mid 21s for the 6k this season!" says Rebenciuc.
