INDOOR: Threw the shot put and the weight during the indoor season … took gold in the shot put at the Vermont Duals (10.36-meters) … hit a season-best mark of 10.42-meters in the shot put at the Wesleyan Invitational … ranked 13th in the shot put at the America East Championships (9.75-meters) … set a new personal record distance in the weight throw with a mark of 11.08-meters at the Reebok Boston Invitational … placed 18th overall at the America East Championships with a heave of 9.89-meters in the weight throw … named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or greater.

OUTDOOR: Competed in the shot put, discus and the hammer throw … season-best mark of 9.73-meters in the shot put came at the Holy Cross Quad Meet … ranked 12th in the shot put at the America East Championships (9.63-meters) … launched the discus 23.16-meters at the Solomon Invitational … set a new PR in the hammer throw at the UConn Invitational (34.24-meters) … reached 30.16-meters in the hammer throw at the America East Championships, good for 17th place … named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or greater.

INDOOR: Competed in the shot put and the weight throw as a rookie … hurled the shot put 10.89-meters, hitting a season-best mark at the Vermont Duals and placing third overall … recorded a distance of 8.79-meters in the shot put at the America East Championship … launched the weight a season-best distance of 10.59-meters at the Dartmouth Invitational … named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or greater.

OUTDOOR: Threw the shot put and the hammer … hit a season-best mark in the shot put at the America East Championship (10.22-meters) and placed 15th overall … recorded a distance of 29.52-meters in the hammer at the Yale Invitational, a season-best mark … named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or greater.

A four-year member of the indoor and outdoor track and field teams at H. Frank Carey High School … a six-time all-conference team member in the shot put, receiving the honor three times during the indoor season and three times during the outdoor season … named all-county shot put following the outdoor season in 2008 …  a three-time shot put state qualifier in 2007 (indoor) and 2008 (outdoor and indoor seasons) … a Friendship Games Finalist in the 2007 and 2008 indoor seasons … holds the school record for the indoor and outdoor shot put … also played two seasons of high school varsity soccer and was a member of the varsity golf team for three seasons.
