INDOOR: Threw the shot put and the weight during his first indoor season … 12th overall in the shot put at the America East Championships with a season-best mark of 12.73-meters … broke Hartford’s weight throw record at the Vermont Duals, the first meet of his collegiate campaign, with a heave of 14.24-meters while claiming first place in the event  … placed 13th in the weigh throw at the America East Championships (13.69-meters).

OUTDOOR: Threw the shot put, discus and the hammer during the outdoor season … reached a season-best shot put mark of 12.39-meters at the Gerry Gravel Classic… took first place and broke Hartford’s discus record at the Gerry Gravel Classic (42.61-meters) … smashed his own discus school record with a new PR of 43.03-meters at the UConn Invitational … ranked 10th at the America East Championships in the discus (42.42-meters) … broke Hartford’s record in the hammer throw at the America East Championships with a mark of 40.36-meters, good for 17th place overall.

A thrower who spent three seasons on the indoor and outdoor track and field teams at Griswold High School … crowned the Connecticut Class M state champion in the discus as a junior and senior … captured the state championship and the Connecticut State Open as a junior in 2009 and again earned the honor as a senior in 2010 … also spent three seasons on the high school football team and was a member of the high school golf team for one season.
