Played four seasons of college basketball under Jimmy Tillette at Samford University prior to arriving at Hartford … saw time in 76 games, averaging 3.9 points and 1.5 rebounds in 13.0 minutes per game … turned in a career field goal percentage of 41.3 … had his senior year cut short in 2011-12 after suffering an injury five games into the season … before the injury, started all five games and averaged 8.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in 24.2 minutes per evening … as a junior, turned in a 45.5 shooting percentage from the field and shot better than 40 percent from behind the arc … throughout his career at Boca Raton Community High School, averaged 12.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game … also tallied 4.7 assists and 3.5 blocks per contest as a junior … named to the 2007 First-Team All-Area squad by the Boca Raton News … a three-year starter and two-time team captain … named the most outstanding player at the annual Five-Star Basketball Camp … led BRCHS to an 18-7 overall record as a junior in 2006-07 … also lettered in tennis and volleyball … his grandfather played basketball at Stetson University.
