Played in 27 matches and 76 total sets as an defensive and serving specialist … finished the season with 11 service aces and 18 digs … recorded her first career kill in a road match at Central Connecticut (Sep. 20) … set a career-high with three aces against Marist (Sep. 7) at the Volley in the Valley … also recorded a pair of aces in the first two matches of the year at Canisius (Aug. 31) and vs. North Carolina State (Aug. 31) at the Golden Griffins Invitational … named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in her first semester.
FRESHMAN (2012)
Played in 10 matches, 17 total sets as a defensive specialist … finished the season with 22 digs … finished with a career-high five digs on two occasions against Nebraska-Omaha (Aug. 25) and Central Connecticut (Aug. 29) … named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
BEFORE HARTFORD
Played four years of volleyball and participated in track all four years at RHAM High School ... helped lead the volleyball team to three Class M State Championships as well as a runner-up finish as a senior in Class L, all as a defensive specialist … also helped lead the track team to a third place finish at the state championship in her senior year … earned league all-academic honors all four years for volleyball and track … played club volleyball for the Husky High Performance Volleyball Club … will also compete for the track and field team and first year head coach Steve Walsh as a jumper.
