Made eight appearances, all out of the bullpen … pitched a total of 8.1 innings and allowed five total runs, three of which were earned for a 3.24 earned run average … did not allow a run to score in his first five appearances, a total of 6.2 innings … joined four other pitchers in completing one of five total shutouts by the Hawks pitching staff … pitched one inning of relief in a 3-0 shutout of UMass (3.19) … recorded a career high three strikeouts in two innings of work against Fairfield (3.27). 

BEFORE HARTFORD
Played four years of baseball and three years of football at Grand Island High School … as a senior was a New York State Class A finalist and First Team All-League as a pitcher and short stop … overall in 2012 finished with 87 strike outs in 50 innings pitched … also finished with a .409 batting average with three home runs, two triple and seven doubles, while driving in 27 runs … also named First Team All-Western NY and received Channel 7 Super 7 Athlete of the Week accolades ... a four-time scholar athlete award, as well as being named to the All-Academic Team in the ECIC as a junior … a marketing major in the Barney School of Business.
