Compliance with NCAA, America East, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), Big Sky ConferenceĀ and University rules and regulations is an important part of the mission of the HartfordĀ Department of Athletics, as well as at the heart of the department's Core Values. As a member of the NCAA, the University of HartfordĀ is responsible for the actions of its coaches, student-athletes, faculty and staff, alumni and friends of the program.

The intent of this website is to provide general guidance to all members of Hawk Nation about NCAA and Conference rules and regulations. The University of Hartford is committed to the principle of institutional control in the operation of its Department of Athletics. The mission of Hartford Athletics Compliance within the institution — as well as throughout the greater Hartford community — is to develop, maintain and continually improve a comprehensive compliance program which promotes an atmosphere of compliance andĀ advances the NCAA principle of institutional control through rules education, monitoring, open communication and self reporting.
