AT HARTFORD:
2025: Benard played in and started every one of Hartford’s 15 games during her freshman season, accumulating 756 total minutes. Benard was a standout for the Hawks, scoring seven goals, the most on the team, and assisting her teammates twice for a team-high 16 total points. Her most impressive performance came on October 7th against Manhattanville where she scored both of Hartford’s goals, the first to tie the game and send it to overtime and the second, in double overtime, to win the game 2-1. Along with this, Benard was awarded the Conference of New England (CNE) Rookie of the week on September 15th for another stellar performance against Albertus Magnus where she netted two more goals. Benard’s impressive season saw her get named to the CNE All-Conference Third Team.

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Graduate of Agawam High School, where Benard was a captain for both the field hockey and women's lacrosse team. Kyra also was a All-Western Mass First Team selection and a Super Sixty Senior selection.
