Fourth year member of the Hartford women’s tennis team ... will play in the top-two singles spots and on the number one doubles team ... played in every match in each of the last two seasons ... finished 2-10 as a junior with both wins at number one singles ... defeated Meg Moran of Holy Cross (6-0, 6-1) and picked up the only point against Providence with a (7-6, 6-4) win over Meghan Gilroy ... finished her sophomore season 2-13 overall with victories over Fairfield's Gabriella Davilla (6-4, 6-4) and Providence's Ashley Risollo (6-3, 6-2) for the team's only point in both matches ... also had one doubles victory paired with Hally Werner over Providence College's number two doubles pair ... daughter of Javier Casino and Gloria Ortiz ... enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in communications.

Coach Raymond Says: “I’ll be looking to Raquel to end her career at Hartford on a high note. She’s very capable of beating the top players from other teams with her steady baseline style, and she’s always pumping herself and her teammates up during matches."
