The Hawk women scored 154 points on the afternoon to finish third overall as a team while the men finished foutth overall with 111 total points.
The women's team racked up 154 total points, just four points behind second-place Williams College and 21 points off the pace of host Springfield College, which fished first as a team on the women's side.
“We progressed a lot since the last meet,” said assistant coach
Mike DuPaul. “Last week, we were just getting back into things after seven weeks off for break. This week we came out and really showed who we are.”
For the women, freshman
Tiffany Harrison had a record-setting day. Harrison paced the Hawks in the 400-meter dash, picking up first place with a time of 59.26. The time broke the facility record for the Springfield College Fieldhouse. Harrison led a trio of Hawks with top-10 finishes in the event. Juniors

Kenterra Richardson, sophomores
Keshia Redhead and
Rebecca Cheatham and junior
Nicole McClintock finished third in the 4x200.
Harrison also picked up second place as an individual in the 200 meters with a time of 27.05. Bonham picked up third place with a time of 27.09, Appiagyei finished fifth, crossing the line in a time of 27.25 and Modeste took ninth place with her 27.89-second mark.

Megan Barry set a facility record, winning the 5,000-meter run in a time of 18:07.03. Barry's time was also a personal best.
Junior

In the field, sophomore
Alisha Beeman picked up a win for the Hawks in the high jump. Beeman cleared a height of 1.60 meters on her way to a first-place finish. Beeman also finished third in the triple jump, just ahead of classmate
Alexandria Thatcher, who finished fourth.
Thatcher also finished fourth in the long jump, just behind senior teammate
Miranda Wallace, who reached a mark of 4.79 meters to finish third.
Senior Nicolle Adams finished second in the pentathlon. Adams racked up 2,780 total points in the multi-event. A first-place finish in the pentathlon long jump highlighted her performance.
The men finished fourth overall with 111 points, just 23 points out of first place, despite not competing in four events.
“Our men's team didn't have any competitors in four of the 19 events. That allowed other teams to gain free points on us,” said DuPaul. “But at the end of the day, we were only 23 points out of first place, so we did a great job of closing the gap and making it a close contest.”
One individual who helped the Hawks tally points was senior sprinter
Anderson Emerole. Emerole picked up wins in both the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes. Emerole was one of three Hawks to score points in the 200-meter dash, crossing the line first in a time of 22.91 seconds. Sophomores
