DURHAM, N.H. – The University of Hartford volleyball team dropped an America East conference matchup to the University of New Hampshire Wildcats (25-19, 25-13, 25-15) on Friday evening. Senior Sareeta Nethersole led the Hawks with 16 kills for her 22nd double-digit kill game of the season, as they fall to 4-7 in conference play.
Nethersole orchestrated the offense with a .225 hitting percentage on 40 attempts while accounting for half of the 32 Hawk total kills on the night. Three points shy of her fifth consecutive double-double, Nethersole also added seven digs on defense. Senior Jackie Tamburri registered 25 of the 30 team assists while pitching in eight digs. Anchoring the Hawk defense, senior Kathryn Gawrych finished with 12 digs for her second consecutive double-digit game of the season. Sophomore Corinne Horanzy added to the Hawks overall play finishing with three kills and seven digs.

SET BREAKDOWN
SET ONE
· The Hawks recorded 10 total kills in the set led by Nethersole with three followed by Henchy and senior Maya Louis with two apiece.
· Henchy also contributed a .333 hitting percentage on six attempts throughout the set.
· Goodwin and junior Alicia Tripoli added a service ace apiece.
SET TWO
· Nethersole accounted for all eight of the Hawk kills in the set with one error in 12 attempts for a .583 hitting percentage.
· Tamburri added six assists while pitching in two digs on defense.
· As a team, the Hawks combined for eight digs led by Gawrych with three.
· Freshman Alyse Wenzel and Tamburri combined for the Hawks lone block of the set.
SET THREE
· The Hawks saw their best play in the third set recording 14 kills and 18 digs.
· Nethersole finished with five kills while Goodwin, Gawrych, and sophomore Rachel Moll added two apiece.
· Defensively, the Hawks were led by Gawrych with five digs followed by Tamburri with four.
