BOULDER CREEK, Nev. —Sophomore Eric Evans from the Hartford men's golf team received All-Conference recognition from the Big Sky, as he was slotted as an Honorable Mention selection.
 
A native of Dover, N.H., Evans becomes the ninth Hartford golfer since 2012 to receive All-Conference distinction after finishing as the Hawks' top golfer in 2018-19. Shaving more than three strokes off his scoring average from his rookie campaign, he finished his second season at Hartford with a 73.17 stroke average, which marks the fifth-best single-season score in program history.
 
Evans, who turned in seven rounds of par-or-better, posted five top-15 finishes this past season, including an eighth place finish at the Doc Gimmler. Finishing in a tie for 21st at the Big Sky Championship, he helped Hartford to a third-place finish.
