WILLIAMSBURG, VA - The Hawks hosted The Ruckus at Williamsburg National Golf Course in the Old Dominion, Hartford would place 5th out of 11 teams, with Drew University taking home first place.
Rapid Recap:
- Leading the way for Hartford; freshman Tim Kaley (Dalton, Mass.), and freshman Manolo Vargas (Medellin, Colombia) finished tied for 19th as both would shoot a 76 in round one and 75 in round two.
- Freshman Zack MacMillan (Toronto, Ontario) finished in 28th place, shooting a 74 in the first round, and 82 in the second round.
- Freshman Griffin LaLonde (Montclair, N.J.) would place 30th overall, shooting a 75 in round one, and 82 in round two.
- Freshman Shawn Amari (Townsend, Mass.) would round things out for Hartford, placing 41st with a 83 round one score, and a 79 round two score.
Inside the Numbers:
- The Hawks would finish with 12 birdies through two rounds.
- MacMillan would secure an eagle in the first round, on hole seven (Par 5).
- Drew's Elliot Parker would finish with individual first place shooting a combined four under par through both rounds.
