NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sophomore Madeline Adam tied for 24th place to lead the Hartford women's golf team at the Yale Women's Invitational this weekend. The Hawks competed against a strong field of 15 teams.

TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS & NOTES

• Adam combined for an eight-over 221 across the three rounds at The Course at Yale
• She had a strong final round, shooting a two-over 73, matching her first round score
• Sophomore Leslie Li carded a 28-over 241 to finish in 76th
• Senior Lara Yeung rounded out the top three for the Hawks, following closely behind in 77th after posting a total score of 242 (+29)
• Sophomore Grace Farland, who played as an individual, finished in a tie for 74th after shooting a 27-over 240
• Harvard took home the team title, edging out second-place Maryland by four strokes, 848 to 852
• The individual champion would come from the Terrapins as Patricie Mackova shot an eight-under 205 over the three rounds

The Hawks return to action on Saturday, Sept. 26, with the Boston College Intercollegiate. Held at the Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, Mass., the event stretches over two days.
