Hat trick for Jenkins

Senior Imani Jenkins netted her third hat trick of the season, and fourth of her career, as the University of Hartford women's soccer team stayed unbeaten against Commonwealth Coast Conference competition with the 5-1 win over Curry College Tuesday at Al-Marzook Field.
 
The captain duo of Jenkins and senior Christina Stone combined for the first two goals of the game. Jenkins took a feed from Stone for a goal in the 11th minute, and then the roles were reversed as Stone scored from Jenkins in the 30th minute.
 
Then Jenkins scored her second and third goals in the 49th and 63rd minutes, respectively. Senior May Cervone and freshman Kathleen Brush recorded the assists on those goals. Brush finished the scoring with a rebound goal in the 71st minute.
 
Curry was able to evade the shutout with a penalty kick in the 85th.
 
Sophomore Sejal Johnson made a pair of saves in her 74 minutes of work.
