On a day in which the Hartford women's soccer program honored their senior and graduate students, those recognized in the pregame ceremony were responsible for six of the team's eight goals as the Hawks overwhelmed Nichols Saturday, 8-0, at Al-Marzook Field at Alumni Stadium.
Senior
Elise Engquist, who was making her second career start, got the scoring going with an unassisted goal in the 12th minute. It was her second goal of her career.

Leah Barbieri scored in the 16th and 21st minute, respectively. Seniors
May Cervone and
Imani Jenkins assisted on the Sharma goal, while Barbieri tallied an unassisted marker. Jenkins scored her first goal of the game in the 39th minute with an assist from freshman
Kathleen Brush.
Hartford tallied four more goals in the second half as Jenkins and Cervone scored in the 63rd and 66th minutes. Sophomore
Mayson Massaro capped the scoring with goals in the 76th and 83rd minutes.
INSIDE THE BOX AND NOTES
- Jenkins moved into third on the single-season goals list with 21. The record is 28, set by Danielle Korbmacher in 1998. She is now second with 55 points, trailing Korbmacher's 62 in 1998.
- Brush has now tallied a point in nine-straight matches, but saw her eight match streak with a goal come to an end.
- Hartford now has three straight clean sheets. Sophomore Sejal Johnson made one save in 71 minutes, while sophomore Mira Mahmoud finished with a save in 19 minutes.
