Senior
Imani Jenkins netted her third career hat trick, the second this season, as the University of Hartford's women's soccer team doubled up Commonwealth Coast Conference foe Gordon, 6-3, Saturday on Al-Marzook Field.
After the Scots took its only lead of the game, Jenkins quickly pulled Hartford even as
Ishani Sharma found a streaking Jenkins in the open field and she was able to beat the goalkeeper for the equalizer one minute later. Three minutes later, Jenkins gave Hartford the lead for good. It marks her first game-winning marker of the season. Sophomore
Rebecca Opdenbrouw had the assist on the goal, and then she added a goal of her own in the waning moments of the first half to push the halftime lead to 3-1.
Opdenbrouw finished the game with a career-high six points with two goals and two assists.
