NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Hartford men's cross country team took part in the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday racing to a 30th team finish in the women's blue race.
Rapid Recap:
- Senior Riley Brutvan (Gardiner, N.Y.) led the Hawks coming in 135th place in the 8K at a time of 26:31.6.
- Freshman Owen Klein (Coventry, R.I.) was next coming in 164th place at a time of 26:55.5. Sophomore Trae McIntyre (Troy, N.Y.) followed with a 27:25.4 time for 198th place.
- Freshman Daren Johnson (Meriden, Conn.) followed in 207th at 27:34.9, while senior Jovan Joseph (Wrentham, Mass.) was the final scorer at a time of 27:54.5 time.
- Nathan Tassey from Roger Williams won the event at a time of 24:05.30, while NYU won the event with a team score of 80.
