CANTON, N.Y. - The Hartford Men's Cross Country team would compete in the 2025 NCAA Division III Mideast Regionals, where they would place 16th out of 26 teams in the 8K event.
Rapid Recap:
- Sophomore Owen Klein (Coventry, R.I.) would lead the Hawks, coming in 37th place, with a time of 26:04.08.
- Junior Trae McIntyre (Troy, N.Y.) would be next up for the Hawks placing 75th, with a time of 27:25.7.
- Senior Gulian Marconi (Southampton, Mass.) finished in 101st place with a time of 27:25.1
- Freshman Gavin Mize (Downington, Pa.) ran into 104th place with a time of 28:03.7.
- Rounding things out in the top five, was junior Keller Casey (Charlton, N.Y.) who placed 107th with a 28:07.8.
Inside the Numbers:
- The Hawks would finish with 424 points.
- Rochester Polytechnic Institution took home first in the event with their runners taking 3rd, 6th, and 10th place.
- Nathan Tassey of Roger Williams University would come in first place with a time of 25:05.5 beating second place by .06 seconds for a photo finish.
