NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Hartford women's cross country team took part in the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday racing to a 21st team finish in the women's white race.

- Graduate student Jacqueline Lage (Hebron, Conn.) led the Hawks in the 6K coming in 124th place at a time of 25:29.1.
- Sophomore Annie Gilman (Lowell, Mass.) was next coming across at a 26:04.3 time in 151st. Freshman Ella Stephenson (Ledyard, Conn.) was close behind in 154th at a time of 26:09.0.
- Junior Elizabeth White (Nashua, N.H.) was next in 163rd at a time of 26:25.6, while sophomore Amelia King (Scranton, Pa.) rounded out the group in 175th at a time of 26:39.4.
- Kate Friedman from Massachusetts Institute of Technology won the race out of the 249 runners at a time of 22:10.70, while Williams won the meet with a 30 Team Score.
