WENHAM, Mass. – The Hartford women's cross country team hit the road to Wenham to compete in the Conference of New England (CNE) Championship hosted by Gordon College. The Hawks finished in 5th place out of the 11 teams with a total team placement of 154.
Rapid Recap:
- Junior Sophia Rebenciuc (Southwick, Mass.) led the way for the Hawks, placing 8th overall with a time of 22:57.82.
- Junior Annie Gilman (Lowell, Mass.) and freshman Maya Seigelman (Suffern, N.Y.) were the second and third finishers for the Hawks, both posting times in the 25th minute and placing 36th and 43rd respectively.
- The last two posted times for the Hawks both came in the 26th minute with sophomore Ella Stephenson (Ledyard, Conn.) and senior Chloe Coale (Martinsburg, W.Va.) placing 43rd and 51st respectively.
- Suffolk University took home first place with Endicott College and University of New England following up in second and third.
