STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - On Friday afternoon, the Hartford men's indoor track & field team competed in Seahawk Shootout sponsored by Wagner College.
Top Results:
- Senior Jovan Joseph (Wrentham, Mass.) made history breaking the school record for the 600 meter dash clocking in at 1:22.59. Joseph finished in 8th place overall.
- Senior Conor Convery (Port Jervis, N.Y.) finished the meet in 4th in the weight throw hitting the mark at 15.99 meters. Senior Joseph Stephenson (Crown Point, Ind.) followed in the event in 9th reaching 14.65 meters.
- Sophomore Christopher Hergott (Hamden, Conn.) had a great showing in the long jump finishing in 3rd place at a length of 7.18 meters.
- Freshman Owen Klein (Coventry, R.I.) also finished in the top 10 coming in 9th for the 3000 meter run at a time of 8:57.94.
