WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - On Tuesday, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District women's volleyball teams were announced featuring four Hawks.
The College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® and Academic All-District® Teams program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. To be considered for inclusion on the Academic All-District® and Academic All-America® Women's Volleyball Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and must have competed in at least 90 percent of the institution's contests or started in at least 66 percent of those contests.
The four members to make the team from the University of Hartford were sophomore
Jenna Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.), sophomore
Jordan Murphy, junior
Sydney Ball (Enfield, Conn.) and junior
Juliana Robinshaw (South Windsor, Conn.).
Je. Murphy played in all 22 contests for the Hawks in 2024 compiling 82 kills, 74 blocks, 11 digs and a pair of aces on the season.
Jo. Murphy also participated in all 22 matches in 2024. Jordan ended the year with a team-high 266 kills, to go with 160 digs, 33 aces, 25 blocks and eight assists.
Ball saw appearances in 20 matches for the Hawks in 2024. Sydney ended the season with 84 kills, 76 digs, 12 services aces and 10 blocks.
Robinshaw played in all 22 matches for the Hawks in 2024. Juliana ended the year with 74 kills, 57 digs, 28 blocks,
