WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Hartford women's cross country took part in their second meet of the season on Saturday competing in the Purple Valley Classic ending the event in 5th place as a team.
Rapid Recap:
- The Hawks were led by freshman Ella Stephenson (Ledyard, Conn.) who placed 26th in the 6k at a time of 31:06.8.
- Graduate student Jacqueline Lage (Hebron, Conn.) followed closely behind in 29th place in the event at a time of 32:28.2.
- Junior Chloe Coale (Martinsburg, W.Va.) was next in 30th at a time of 32:56.9. Freshman Lauren Duffy (Southington, Conn.) and freshman Kiera Braunwart (Hebron, Conn.) rounded out the group in 31st and 32nd place at times of 36:01.2 and 40:10.7.
- Williams College won their home event with a team score of 29. Jules Bleskoski from RPI won the event at a time of 25:20.9.

"Though we did not have our whole team running today, we worked together and put in a really good effort on a super hilly course", said freshman
