NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - The Hawks competed in the Central Connecticut State University Mini Meet this Friday placing 3rd out of 4 teams. This was their final race in regular season competition before entering post-season races.

Rapid Recap:

• Junior Trae McIntyre (Troy, N.Y.) led the Hawks taking 11th place crossing the finish line with a time of 16:12.84 a personal best for the junior.
• Senior Gulian Marconi (Southampton, Mass.) finished just behind taking 13th place at 16:15.51.
• Freshman Gavin Mize (Downington, Pa.) came in next for the Hawks taking 17th place with an impressive personal record time of 16:31.54.
• Sophomore Ethan Fiorenza (Dover, N.H.) ran into 18th place just behind Mize with a final time of 16:47.93.
• Senior Peter Efinger (Washingtonville, N.Y.) rounded it out for the team coming in 20th place with a time of 17:01.88.

The Hawks head into post season competition this Saturday, November 1st as they travel to Gordon College to compete in the Conference of New England Cross Country Championships.
