NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - The Hawks competed in the Central Connecticut State University Mini Meet this Friday. This was their final race in regular season competition before entering post-season races.
Rapid Recap:
- Freshman Leah Valentino (Beacon Falls, Conn.) led the Hawks with a time of 12:15.13.
- Sophomore Kiera Braunwart (Hebron,Conn.) came in just behind Leah crossing the finish line at 12:41.11.
- Freshman Madeline Polochick (Acushnet, Mass.) had a strong showing in this race with a time of 13:16.96.
- To round it out for the Hawks sophomore Penelope Andreou (Bay Side, N.Y.) finished with a time of 13:34.38.

The Hawks head into post season competition this Saturday, November 1st as they travel to Gordon College to compete in the Conference of New England Cross Country Championships.
