PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Hawks Men's Indoor Track & Field competed in the Brown University Invitational this weekend.
Top Results:
- Senior Brandon Edmund (Brooklyn, N.Y.) had a strong showing for the Hawks as he placed third overall in the 300m with a time of 36.20. Edmund also earned fifth overall in the 60m crossing the finish line at 7.18.
- Freshman Aidan Quee (Springfield, Mass.) also nabbed two top ten finishes this Saturday. Quee ran a 36.62 to claim fourth overall in the 300m, along with finishing sixth for the Hawks with a time of 7.20.
- Freshman Marlon Pierre (Baldwin, N.Y.) placed third with his impressive performance in the 60m hurdles clocking a time of 8.94.
- Sophomore Benjamin Vroeginday (Southington, Conn.) also earned a top-ten spot in the 300m event grabbing eighth place with a time of 38.10.
- The Hawks dominated the 1 mile this afternoon nabbing three top-ten places, Sophomore Trae McIntyre (Troy, N.Y.) lead the Hawks taking fourth with a time of 4:47.93, Freshman Fiorenza (Dover, N.H.) was right behind finishing fifth crossing the line at 4:48.59. Sophomore Jordan Spector (Framingham, Mass.) grabbed sixth place with a time of 5:03.43.
- Sophomore Christopher Hergott (Hamden, Conn.) jumped strong nabbing the first place spot in the men's long jump for the Hawks with a distance of 7.00m
- Senior Joseph Lothamer (South Burlington, Vt.) cleared a height of 4.15m in the pole vault event placing sixth overall for the day.
- Senior Joseph Stephenson (Salem, Mass.) tossed his way in seventh place with an impressive weight throw distance of 15.11m.
- Freshman Jayden Lawrence had a strong showing finishing fifth overall in the 500m with a time of 1:16.84.
