STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - The Hartford men's indoor track & field team competed on Friday in the Ocean Breeze Fasttrack National Invitational in Staten Island, New York, taking on a high level of competition.
Top Results:
- Sophomore Christopher Hergott (Hamden, Conn.) had a big showing in the long jump scoring in 2nd place at 7.21 meters.
- Senior Conor Convery (Port Jervis, N.Y.) finished the weight throw event in 4th place at a distance of 16.28 meters.
- Senior Joseph Lothamer (Newburgh, Ind.) finished in 7th place in the pole vault event clearing a height of 4.35 meters.
- Junior Bryce Foster (Manchester, N.H.) came in 21st in the 60 meter hurdles at a time of 8.87 seconds.
- Senior Jovan Joseph (Wrentham, Mass.) rounded out the top scorers in 27th in the 800 meter at a time of 1:59.36.
