Wolk Named CNE Player of the Week

BEVERLY, Mass. – On Monday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its weekly report with senior Olivia Wolk (Sugarloaf, Pa.) being named the softball player of the week.

Wolk continues to excel for the Hawks at the plate going 10-for-23 this past week with a slugging percentage of 1.043. Olivia had six triples, six RBIs, five runs scored, four stolen bases and two doubles in a busy week. Wolk was recently named the program-record holder for triples at the University of Hartford getting her 10th of her career on March 14th to break the school record. 

Wolk and the Hawks continue the week in Florida with four more games in the Space Coast Spring Games before returning home with a double header on Sunday at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.

Originally founded in 1984 as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), and reconstituted as the Conference of New England (CNE) in 2024, the CNE is an NCAA Division III athletic conference composed of 10 full member and five associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition, and a meaningful student life. The Conference administers championships in 20 intercollegiate sports.
