BEVERLY, Mass. - On Tuesday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its softball major award winners and all-conference teams with the Hawks seeing seven members selected.
Freshman
Alina Weaver (Nazareth, Pa.) headlined the list being named the CNE Rookie of the Year. Weaver became the everyday shortstop early on in the season slashing .392/.488/.559 (AVG/OBP/SLG) with three homers, eight doubles, 14 RBIs and 29 runs scored. Alina would also steal 10 bags with a 1.047 OPS. Defensively she had 46 assists and 38 putouts. Weaver was also named to the 2nd Team All-Conference in her first season.
Senior
Gia Miccio (Bellmore, N.Y.) was the lone member of the softball team to be named to the 1st Team All-Conference. The center fielder had a stellar end to her career slashing .381/.407/.548 in her senior year with a homer, 12 doubles, three triples, 29 RBIs and 28 runs scored. On the base paths Miccio stole a program-record 20 bases this season in 21 attempts. She also managed to secure a program-record 19 game hit streak over the course of the season. Defensively, Miccio had 77 putouts only compiling one error in 2026.
Making the 2nd Team All-Conference along with Weaver was sophomore
Alyssa Edwards (Stoughton, Mass.). Edwards had a breakout sophomore season with a .372/.429/.717 slash line tying a program-record with nine homers. Alyssa added 12 doubles, 34 RBIs and 23 runs scored with a OPS of 1.146. Defensively, Edwards had 22 putouts and 48 assists.
Three Hawks would make the 3rd Team All-Conference team in junior
Adelie Beebe (Sacramento, Calif.), senior
Anita Farkash (Seaford, N.Y.) and senior
Carly Mayhood (Newton, N.J.).
Beebe slashed .368/.434/.670 while tying a program-record with single season RBIs with 39. Adelie added eight homers, eight doubles and 24 runs scored with a 1.104 OPS. Defensively, Beebe had a perfect fielding percentage with 67 putouts and one assist.
Farkash closed her senior year being a clutch bat for the Hawks. Anita finished the season with a .310/.397/.496 slash line with four homers, nine doubles, 26 RBIs and 15 runs scored. In the field, Farkash led the team with 246 putouts and moved into 10th in program history with a career total of 589.
Mayhood closes the 3rd Team selections after finishing her senior year ranked 5th in program history in career strikeouts (260) and wins (28). Carly ended the year with a 8-9 overall record and an ERA of 4.86 and 84 strikeouts. In conference play, Mayhood went 5-3 with a 2.56 ERA and an opponent batting average of .209.
Junior
Bridget Bernard (North Andover, Mass.) rounded out the Hawks featured being named to the CNE Community Service Team. Bernard missed the season due to injury, but played a pivotal role in the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) in 2025-26 and was announced as the president for the 2026-27 year.
