WILLIAMSBURG, VA. the Hawks traveled into the Old Dominion for what would be a home away from home tournament as the Hawks would play host down south. Out of 11 teams Hartford placed fourth of eleven teams through two rounds.
Rapid Recap:
- Teams teed off Saturday for the first round followed by the second round on Sunday. Hartford would finish with a team score of 591 (+15).
- Senior Kyle St. Pierre (Shelton, Conn.) lead the way for Hartford, shooting a 73 in the first round and a 72 in the second finishing one over par and tied for 6th place. Also tying for 6th was Senior John Guerrera (Farmington, Conn.) who shot a 74 on day one and a 71 on day two, Guerrera would also finish one over par.
- Freshman Nathan Talliner (Madison, N.J.) finished third for the Hawks, shooting a 75 in the first round and a 73 in the second. He would finish the tournament four over par and place tied for 15th.
Inside the Numbers:
- St. Pierre jumped up one place between two rounds, and Guerrera would jump up six spots.
- Hartford finished with 108 pars as a team.
- The Hawks finished with 24 birdies and one eagle.
