BEVERLY, Mass. – On Monday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its weekly report with junior
Gia Miccio (Bellmore, N.Y.) being named the softball player of the week. Miccio follows senior
Olivia Wolk (Sugarloaf, Pa.) who won the award last week.
Gia was great this week for the Hawks batting 8-18 (.444) from the plate with six runs scored, four doubles, two triples and five RBIs.
Miccio and the Hawks start a home stand on Thursday hosting the University of Saint Joseph on Thursday at 3:30 PM before playing Roger Williams this weekend at Saturday.
