LOWELL, MA- On Saturday the University of Hartford men's indoor track & field team traveled to UMass Lowell for this UMass Lowell Invitational.

For the Men's Hammer Throw Hartford went three for three on the podium. Senior Conor Convery (Port Jervis, NY) placed first while setting a new school record with a 53.33m toss. Senior Joseph Stephenson (Crown Point, Ind.) snagged second with a 42.23m hurl. Freshman Nicholas Gati (Goshen, NY) took home third with a 41.98m.

In the Men's Discus Throw Freshman Aidan Lybarger (South Burlington, Vt.) took home first place with a 40.02m throw.

In Men's Pole Vault Senior Joseph Lothamer (Newburgh, Ind.) got first place with a 4.10m vault. Sophomore Thomas Yonkers (Southington Conn.) took second place with a 3.80m vault.

Sophomore Christopher Hegott (Hamden, Conn.) placed fourth in the 100m dash with an 11.00 second sprint.

In the Men's Shot Put sophomore Will Pavlinsky (New Milford, Conn.) finished 3rd with a 13.58m toss.

"Outdoor in New England always brings an interesting experience, especially these early meets", said Head Coach Conner Green. "Rain, sleet and some snow certainly made for a memorable meet, but so did the great performances and efforts put out there by our teams. I'm thrilled with how we started the outdoor season and am looking forward to being at home next year for our first ever home meet!"
