NEW LONDON, Conn. - Over the past two day the Hawks men's track and field team competed in the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College. 

Rapid Recap:

• Sophomore Christopher Hergott (Hamden, Conn.) finished in 1st in the 100 meter dash at a time of 10.73 seconds which is now ranked #21 in division III. He added a third place finish in the 200 meter dash at a time of 22.08. 
• Senior Conor Convery (Port Jervis, N.Y.) finished in first in the hammer throw at a distance of 53.19 meters. 
• Freshman Aidan Lybarger (South Burlington, Vt.) broke the school record on Friday night at a distance of 47.45 meters good for second place.
• Senior Joseph Lothamer (Newburgh, Ind.) and sophomore Thomas Yonkers (Farmington, Conn.) tied in the pole vault at 4.25 meters. Yonkers is now tied with Lothamer for the school record. 
• Freshman Sekani Spence (Lakeview, N.Y.) came in fourth in the 110 meter hurdles at a time of 16.23 seconds. 
• Freshman Aidan Quee (Springfield, Mass.) came in third in the 400 meter dash at a time of 52.13 seconds.

The Hawks will compete next on April 19th at the Trinity College Invitational.
