BROOKVILLE, NY Hartford Men's Golf traveled to Long Island, Monday for a two-day three round tournament hosted by Long Island University (LIU). Hartford finished 13th out of 13 teams with an overall score of 887 over the three rounds (R1: 290, R2: 300, R3: 297).

Groups began play at 8:30 on Monday, and finished their final round on Tuesday. Freshman Nathan Tallinder (Madison, N.J.) placed T24 going +8 through three rounds, shooting a 69 in round one, 73 in round two, and 76 in round three. Senior John Guerrera (Farmington, Conn.) finished T40 going +13 through three rounds, with a 76 in the first round, 74 in the second round, and 73 in the third round. Senior Jack Ritchie-Roux (Capetown, South Africa) placed T62 going +18 through three rounds, shooting a 71 in the first round, 84 in the second round, and 73 in the third round. Senior Kyle St. Pierre (Shelton, Conn.) finished in 65th place, shooting a 74 in the first round, 80 in the second round and 75 in the third round. Freshman Ethan Archibald (Heath, Texas) finished T66 (+20), and shot a 76 in the first round, 73 in the second round, and 81 in the final round.Â
Inside the Numbers:
- Archibald and Tallinder both finished with seven birdies, St. Pierre tallied five, Ritchie Roux with four, and Guerrera with three.
- Hartford had the fifth most pars out of all 13 teams
- William Musson of Boston College notched a hole in one in the second round.
