HARTFORD, Conn. - Hawks men's track and field competed in the Trinity Invitational on Saturday, overall the men's team had an impressive individual record-setting performance to finish 3rd overall.

- Sophomore Christopher Hergott (Hamden, Conn.) finished 1st in the 100 meter dash at a time of 10.56 seconds which is now ranked #14 in division III, this time also set a new all-time school record at the University of Hartford beating first place by 0.22s. He also took first place in long jump with a distance of 7.23m now ranked #6 in division III.
- Senior Conor Convery (Port Jervis, N.Y.) finished in first in the hammer throw at a distance of 50.67m
- Senior Joseph Stephenson (Crown Point, Ind.)Â finished in third place in the hammer throw earning a distance of 48.39m.
- Sophomore Thomas Yonkers (Farmington, Conn.) took third place in pole vault along with senior Joseph Lothamer (Newburgh, Ind.) taking fourth place.
- Freshman Sekani Spence (Lakeview, N.Y.) came in fourth in the 110 meter hurdles at a time of 15.79 seconds.Â
- Sophomore Bryce Foster (Manchester, N.H.) placed fifth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.86s
- Junior Mats Nevin (South Burlington, Vt.) placed third overall in the 3000m Steeple-Chase event with a time of 10:29.27, with sophomore Keller Casey finishing right behind to claim fourth with a time of 10:43.63.
- Sophomore Will Pavlinsky (New Milford, Conn.) had a strong performance in the men's shot put claiming fourth place with a distance of 13.72m
- Freshman Aidan Quee (Springfield, Mass.) took fifth place in the triple jump event with a distance of 12.92m
- Freshman Aidan Lybarger (South Burlington, Vt.) took first in the discus event launching a distance of 43.96m

"As a team, this is the highest number of personal record we've had in any meet indoor and outdoor," said sophomore
Christopher Hergott (Hamden,Conn.). "With the conference meet being next week, we've set ourselves up really well as serious contenders for the CNE championship."
