BEVERLY, Mass. – The Conference of New England (CNE) named sophomore Christopher Hergott (Hamden, Conn.) CNE Track Athlete of the Week for consecutive weeks in their weekly report.
Hergott competed in the Trinity Invitational this past weekend finishing 1st in the 100 meter dash at a time of 10.56 seconds which is now ranked #14 in division III, this time also set a new all-time school record at the University of Hartford beating first place by 0.22s. Hergott also took first place in long jump with a distance of 7.23m now ranked #6 in division III.
Hergott and the Hawks are set to compete this weekend at the Conference of New England Track & Field Championships hosted by Gordon College in Wenham, Mass.
