WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - On Sunday, the Hartford men's track & field team had their first home meet in program history hosting the rage in the cage invitational at Grant Family Track & Field. The Hawks finished in second place as a team with 202 points.

- Sophomore Christopher Hergott (Hamden, Conn.) had a great day finishing in first in the 100 meter and the 200 meter. Hergott finished the 100 meter at 10.88 seconds good for 4th all time in program history. He added a 22.27 second finish in the 200 to move up to 7th all-time.
- Senior Conor Convery (Port Jervis, N.Y.) finished in first in the hammer throw at a distance of 53.25 meters.
- Freshman Aidan Lybarger (South Burlington, Vt.) placed first in the discus at 46.37 meters.
- Senior Joseph Lothamer (Newburgh, Ind.) won the pole vault competition clearing 4.15 meters.
- Senior Jovan Joseph (Wrentham, Mass.) picked up a first place finish in the 800 meter at a time of 1:59.7.
- Senior Riley Brutvan (Gardiner, N.Y.) won the 3000 meter steeple chase at a time of 9:56.69.
- Freshman Daren Johnson (Meriden, Conn.) won the 1,500 meter race at a time of 4:08.42.
- Assumption University won the first ever Rage in the Cage Invitational with 205 points.
- Prior to the meet the Hawks honored the seniors on the team including Convery, Lothamer, Joseph, Brutvan, Brandon Edmund (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Joseph Stephenson (Crown Point, Ind.) and Noah Thomas (Salem, Mass.).

The Hawks will compete on Friday and Saturday in the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College.
